Winning the 510 Datathon (Netherlands Red Cross)

Had a great day competing in a Datathon for 510 An Initiative of the Netherlands Red Cross on disaster impact prediction! We won the competition by combining decision trees and a rule based approach to Twitter data. We also suggested using word embeddings to find more indicative words in tweets. Excited to work on other Data Science competitions with this team!
